Game 1.2

Since there were only two comments and no one commented on the comments you both have been chosen!!

I would first check if everyone was ok and accounted for. Check if anyone was hurt and try to comfort anyone who was freaking out. Then maybe search the beach for anything else that might have washed up overnight.
salt water/ocean: get everyone together and then search the island or fresh water (and shelter as indicated below)fresh water/lake: search the island for shelter

There were six of you on the boat and all of you managed to make it to shore.  You find that you have two round life preservers and four life jackets.  Along the shore there are a few pieces of drift wood and some seaweed.  Since you were on the ocean the water is salty.  After searching the island for a few hours you have discovered a small freshwater spring and a cave that is about six feet by four feet and has a ceiling of just over five feet.  There are plenty of banana and coconut trees.

It is now about four in the afternoon and all of you are starting to get hungry.  You currently have no fire and minimal shelter.

Inventory:
  • four life jackets
  • two life preservers
  • a mound about the size of a basketball of seaweed
  • 13 pieces of driftwood no larger than your forearm

What do you do next?

  1. I would assign jobs. Two people gather what food they can, while three people are to work together to find a natural shelter or wood, leaves, etc to make a shelter using the seaweed. One person is to make a fire using some of the driftwood, dried leaves, and threads of the coconut hair. I take the task of making the fire, using my glasses to focus the sun and light the palm leaves until the driftwood catches.
